#2422 “Antique” Style Pepper Mill is turned of birch from a mill in Maine where they slice the birch, mill and dye it, then laminate it back together creating turning blocks that we purchase. The thickness and color patterns give George a pallet to create colorful mills. The color pattern for this one is called “Autumn” with its pleasing burgundy and brown layers. This popular “Antique” style mechanism has a copper finish and is 9 1/2” tall and 2 3/4" across the base of the mill. This mechanism is easy to fill, and easy to adjust the pepper grind preferred.. We will include a vial of multi-colored pepper that can be used to easily refill the mill. Our mills are sanded by hand with multiple grits, and finished to make it easy to clean. It is signed, dated and the wood identified on the base. A number refers to its image in our database, so if ever there is a question or concern we know exactly which mill you are referring to. We love the profile of this mill that certainly will appeal to the person who likes things that are distinctive. Let us know if you'd like to see this mill in other colors..we may be able to do it!
