This set is turned of wood found in Central America, Mexico, India and a few parts of southern Florida. We are carful that our exautic woods come from sustainable sources. The mechanisms o this set are from a company based in Pennsylvania, USA, and they stand behind their products. The pepper mill is 7 7/8" tall and 3 3/4" across the base. The grind is adjustable.
